Flux Marine
The technology behind Flux Marine is based on nearly a decade of research and development, but inspired by a lifetime of boating. With seed funding from Princeton University's Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering department in 2015, Ben Sorkin embarked on the first iteration of what would become the most advanced electric propulsion system on the market. Joined soon after by co-founders Daylin Frantin and Jon Lord, the three took years of research, iterated upon the technology, and grew Flux Marine into the company it is today. From the modest beginnings in a garage to a manufacturing facility in Rhode Island filled with a team of passionate experts, Flux is now delivering powerful, all electric outboard motors to companies and customers around the country.
